Hillend to Burry Holms... Leader Mike Lewis.


From Hillend we walk along the beach to visit Burry Holms, a tidal island at the western end of Rhossili Bay.


Mike, our leader, tells us about the history of the island.


After exploring the island, a last look out to sea .....


....before returning to the beach.


The tide is out so we are able to walk along at the foot of the cliffs to Blue Pool Bay..


Blue Pool is a deep rock pool set in the rocks at the bottom of the cliff.


A well earned rest.
